  1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or expected to receive a bachelor’s degree before the beginning of the term the applicant is applying to).
  2. Educational attainment equivalent to a bachelor’s degree recognized by law.

    1. A master’s degree from an accredited college or university (or expected to receive a master’s degree before the beginning of the term the applicant is applying to).

    1. Master’s program: Graduates of a bachelor’s degree program at a recognized college or university in Korea or abroad.

    • Master’s program applicants are not required to have any specific undergraduate degree nor are there any specific prerequisites.

    Application Procedure

    Graduate School
    Admission decisions are made by the admissions committee through a comprehensive review of the application materials submitted. Some departments may require an interview.

    The final admission decisions for the Department of Music are made through a review of application materials and result of the assessment performance.

    1. Step 1. Application Document Assessment Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of academic records, English proficiency scores, GMAT, work experience, recommendations, essay, and etc.
    2. Step 2. Interview with Admission Committee. After an initial review of students’ application and supporting materials, successful candidates will be selected for interviews. Applicants will be notified of the interviews via email. Face to face or video interview via internet will be conducted in English. This allows you to show that you possess the essential skills and talents that are the key to getting the most out of the MBA experience

    4. Office of International Affairs
    The office of International Affairs(OIA) manages international activities such as student orientation, Global day, Athletic Competition, Global Festival, Korean Singing Contest and annual field trip. The OIA also takes a keen interest in the academic and extracurricular pursuits of international students, and assists them in adapting to Korean culture and Yonsei environment.

    5. Yonsei GSIS Library Resources
    In addition to the computers in the library, there is also a printer, a scanner, and a photocopier in the library. The fees for printing and photocopying can be paid by setting up an account. Users have to charge the account by depositing money into the machine located in the library. Then, any printing or photocopying will be charged against this account. Down the hall from the library are the reading rooms. These rooms are for the exclusive use of GSIS students. The rooms have a keypad entry system and a password is required. The password can be obtained from the library staff.

    6. Career Development Center (CDC)
    The Yonsei Graduate School of International Studies (Yonsei GSIS) actively supports students and graduates, helping them identify and attain their career and life-long educational goals. Career Development Center (CDC) does its best to provide students with comprehensive services for successful job searching through career exploration, career networking, career information center, and on-campus recruiting.

    Graduate School

    1. All required documents must be originals. Documents in non-Korean or non-English languages must be accompanied with certified English translations.
    2. Application fees are non-refundable and all application documents will not be returned.
    3. Applicants can only apply to one department (applying to two or more departments is not allowed).
    4. If any required documents are found to be false or counterfeit, admission to Yonsei University will be revoked.
