PhD Scholarship Positions at St Marry University College


St Mary’s has fostered the intellectual, physical and spiritual development of its students to assist them to have successful careers and flourishing lives since its foundation in 1850. Our beautiful campus is situated in the grounds of the historic Strawberry Hill House, Twickenham, in close proximity to the National Archives in Kew and with easy access to central London.

Under its new Principal, Prof Philip Esler, St Mary’s will strengthen its mission to create new knowledge and to engage in activities in support of social cohesion and economic development in this exciting period of change for UK higher education.

St Mary’s provides a supportive and diverse environment for research students with a thriving postgraduate community and high levels of student satisfaction. There is a co-ordinated institutional postgraduate research student programme, with regular activities at University College and School level. In addition students have access to a range of research training seminars at the University of Surrey, and a wide range of provision across London-based institutions.
