
Endowed award; established by John and Margaret Casey in honour of their son, Blair. This is the application for competitive scholarships and awards for undergraduate students. This completed application is required for all award opportunities which state that an application is required, with the exception of opportunities which specifically indicate that a “distinct” application is required.
Eligibility
– Undergraduate students in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Wilfrid Laurier University;
– recipient will have demonstrated community spirit, participated in a variety of extracurricular activities and contributed to the Laurier community as a student leader.
– The recipient must have a minimum GPA of 9.0, be a long term resident of Ontario, and have demonstrated financial need. Positive evidence of leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills are highly valued in the selection of the eligible candidate.
– The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of sensitivity and ability to accept and include others in their interactions.
